Learning Ruby with Hackety Hack

I followed a link on code.org to Hackety Hack, an education desktop-based app that teaches students Ruby, which, according to the tagline on the website, is 'a programmer's best friend'.

My ultimate endgoal is to learn Ruby on Rails (to build webapps), but the name itself implies that I cannot learn how to use Ruby on Rails without learning Ruby first.

The interface of Hackety Hack is a bit rudimentary. However, in terms of teaching: it's perfect.
